Yesterday was the 14th anniversary of Senna's death at Imola. I was thinking of posting his last lap, but that seems just too macabre, even for this blog. Here's Senna's racing at Donington in 1993. He starts in what looks like 4th on the grid and by the end of the first lap he's in first, without other cars crashing out. Just good driving.

I was too young to watch Senna race, but many people say he was the best driver ever in Formula 1 and to watch how he makes the rest of the field his bitch in this video; well it's hard to argue with that logic.
