WRIST SHOTS: YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE JOHAN

I probably shouldn't have referenced an Adam Sandler movie, but there it is. The Red Wings sweep the Avs with an 8-2 blowout win, on the strength of a Johan Franzen hat trick, which I predicted. (Hey, if you make enough blognostications, one of them is going to be right.)

Meanwhile, the Rangers stay alive with a 3-0 Game 4 win. I agree with Rob, the slew footing moves by Malkin are total bullshit. If he wasn't a Hart nominee, more people would be talking about this as a bush league move. But on the other hand, that Malkin shot should have been called a goal as the puck was in before the goal was knocked off its moorings. Game 5 in Sidsburgh on Sunday.
