SIMPSONS MOVIE

During tonight's episode of "The Simpsons", they ran a teaser for the Simpsons Movie, due to be released on July 27, 2007. Yikes, that's a long way off. It was pretty funny, with the intro making it sound like a Superman trailer ("Leaping his way onto the silver screen, the greatest hero in American history!), when it was actually Homer sitting in a Superman T-shirt and his underwear on the couch, saying "I forgot what I was supposed to say." When they announced the date, Homer says, "Uh oh, we'd better get started." (They're currently showing this trailer before "Ice Age: Meltdown", which is not the same target audience, but hey, whatever.)

Here's a reason to get an iPod video player, if you were on the fence about purchasing one: a Homer Simpson case!
